Object Roundtables

From 2012 to 2017, the Smart engaged humanities and science faculty in lively discussion around art from the collection as part of the Mellon Program.

These Object Roundtables were grounded by a handful of objects and brief presentations by two to three faculty members. The workshops centered on diverse topics such as material, scale, beauty, and atmosphere. Faculty from over 14 departments participated in the series.
