Educator Resources

Teaching guides, workshops, and other tools

The Feitler Center’s staff of trained art historians are eager to offer our support to ensure that each visit to the Smart Museum meets the individual themes and goals of a given course at the University of Chicago.

There are many approaches to teaching with art—from analyzing objects as texts to developing immersive attention skills. We are here to collaborate with you to provide research on objects, develop discussion prompts, design class activities, and/or help with outside writing assignments.
