Exhibited as an ensemble rather than a showcase of individual artists, the exhibition explored how objects and images can complement, neutralize, or repel one another. The accompanying exhibition brochure includes an introduction by Tom Mapp, director of Midway Studios, an essay by Laura Letinsky, assistant professor in the Committee on the Visual Arts, artists’ statements and black-and-white illustrations.
