Please join the Smart Museum and Sweet Water Foundation and communities across the nation on October 21 as we Imagine a Day Without Water.
Sweet Water Foundation (SWF), in partnership with the Smart, is hosting a panel discussion on the many facets and dimensions of water as the source of all life. This event is part of the US Water Alliance’s Imagine a Day Without Water, and the opening of well · ness at The Commonwealth, SWF’s inaugural art exhibition in the Thought Barn.
The event features panelists Emmanuel Pratt, Sweet Water Foundation Executive Director; Iñigo Manglano-Ovalle, Toward Common Cause exhibiting artist; Debra Shore, Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago; and Amy Stelly, artist, designer, urban planner, and SWF Human in Residence. It will be live streamed via Lumpen Radio’s twitch.tv channel.

This program is presented as part of Toward Common Cause: Art, Social Change, and the MacArthur Fellows Program at 40. The exhibition is organized by the Smart Museum of Art in collaboration with exhibition, programmatic, and research partners across Chicago. It is supported by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
