Workshop: Pop, Politics, Poetry (Part I)

In this two-part program presented in collaboration with the Poetry Foundation, explore the work of artists and poets who engage with ideas of utopia, past and present. 

Part I 

Tuesday, October 8, 6–8 pm

Part I begins with a tour of the exhibition Samson Young: Silver Moon or Golden Star, Which Will You Buy of Me? followed by a discussion and hands-on art project that touches on pop culture, how artists engage in tumultuous times, and ideas of the future from the past. 

Part II

Thursday, October 10, 6–8 pm
Poetry Foundation
61 West Superior Street

Part II is a special Forms & Features poetry workshop and discussion dedicated to poetry that examines the relationship between social and technological progress, and that engages and incorporates a variety of media and technologies.  


FREE, participants have the option to attend one or both sessions. Space may be limited, please register in advance
