Jerome Carlin: Autobiographical Paintings

Part of the Smart Museum’s alumni artists series, this was an exhibition of paintings by Jerome Carlin (Ph.D. 156, Sociology). Carlin’s works focus on the experience of growing up in the upper-middle-class milieu of Chicago in the 1930s and 1940s.
