SmartPartners Tour and Print Viewing

Museum guests look at painted folding screens on gold leaf

SmartPartners are invited to join us for an exclusive closing-week curatorial tour of Meiji Modern

Organized exclusively for the SmartPartners, this program offers a unique opportunity to explore Meiji Modern with exhibition co-curator Chelsea Foxwell, Associate Professor of Art History at the University of Chicago. Following the tour, enjoy a special viewing of a selection of Meiji period woodblock prints from the Smart’s Brooks McCormick, Jr. Collection of Japanese Prints, on display in the study room.

Not a SmartPartner yet? Consider becoming one by making a secure online donation of $100 or more to support Smart’s most important programs and initiatives, including boundary-pushing exhibitions, comprehensive faculty and student engagement, and innovative educational experiences for children and families from surrounding communities.

To RSVP, please complete the registration form or contact Polina Kasian at pkasian@uchicago.edu or 773.702.2368.
