Family Day: Birds of a Feather

Ink painting of a white heron on gold leaf

Shake your tail feathers during this family day at the Smart Museum of Art!

Inspired by the many magnificent works featuring birds on view in Meiji Modern, create peacock feather masks and make a golden screen featuring our feathered friends.

FREE, drop-in. Art-making supplies and other materials are provided. Family programs are best for kids 4–12, but all ages are welcomed! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Family programs are supported by the Harper Court Arts Council.
