Take Care with Art After Dark: Making a Scroll

January 20, 2021
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Join us as we unroll the scroll on a new year!

Led by Kathryn Fitzgerald, Lead Museum Educator at the Smart Museum, this virtual gathering mixes art-making and conversation inspired by the Smart Museum’s exhibition Take Care. We’ll reflect on the past year and consider plans for the coming as we engage with Mary Frank’s work in the exhibition. Join in from home for an evening of art exploration and creative drawing within a supportive, caring community.

FREE. To help build a community of participants, capacity is limited and advanced registrations is required.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS

  • 2 sticks or wooden spoons/pencils
  • 2 empty toilet paper or paper towel rolls
  • 1 roll of toilet paper*
  • Markers, pencil, pen, crayons, or charcoals

* If you need to conserve your supply of toilet paper, turn 2 pieces of 8.5 x 11" paper sideways (landscape), cut them in half, and tape together to form a long sheet.
