In the most basic of descriptions, a sculpture could be called an “ornamental rock.”
This fun, hands-on workshop explores multiple sculpture-making techniques using “rocks”—including marble and granite—and “ores”—including iron, aluminum, and copper. The program includes a tour of the special exhibition The Allure of Matter, with a focus on the stone and stainless steel works by Zhan Wang.
