The Greg Artry Quartet performs at the Smart as part of the Hyde Park Jazz Festival, a weekend of free performances at cultural venues throughout the neighborhood.

A recent transplant from the city of Indianapolis, Greg Artry (drums) has formed his quartet with Bobby Broom (guitar), Dennis Carroll (bass), and Greg Ward (alto sax). With passion, sensitivity, and beauty, the goal of this band is to groove hard and sing from the heart.
