Curator Tour: Into the City

Join guest curator Maggie Taft for an insightful exploration of Into the City: Art in Chicago.

Organized in conjunction with Taft’s UChicago Art History course, this exhibition considers some of the themes, issues, and conventions that emerge and re-emerge in Chicago art production, and how the city itself has shaped this creative output. This exhibition connects with Taft’s upcoming publication on artistic practice in Chicago from the Great Fire in 1871 to the present.

FREE, open to all.

Presented as part of Art Design Chicago, a citywide celebration of Chicago’s art and design legacy.
