In this ongoing Smart series, University of Chicago instructors and their invited guests enter into dialogue about one specific artwork on view in a current exhibition. Highlighting objects that spark the curiosity and interest of scholars across disciplines, these conversations always include an opportunity for attendees to join the discussion. Pouneh Shabani-Jaddidi, Instructional Professor of Persian in the Department of Middle Eastern Studies, continues the series with a conversation about Mohammad Hossein Mosavvar-ol-Molki’s print “The Allied Powers Routing the Axis Powers” in Smart to the Core: Wise to Power. Free, no registration required.
