The Smart will be closed July 14 - September 22
Free and open to the public
The Smart's education study room transforms into an extension of the galleries for a one-day-only, pop-up exhibition, curated by Smart Education Intern CeCe Rodriguez. Moving across artistic media, cultures, and histories, the objects on view, all drawn from the Smart's permanent collection, explore the complexities of human embodiment, especially for trans people. In Rodgriguez words, "The trans experience is not a strange foreign thing but just another story of self-discovery." Free; drop by.
