Join us for the public culmination of the UChicago course “Site-Based Practice: Choreographing the Smart Museum,” led by Julia Rhoads, Director of the Dance Program in Theater and Performance Studies.
This course gives students the unique opportunity to create a collaborative, site-based work using embodied research methods that respond to site through moving, sensing, and listening. The class spent winter quarter exploring the relationship between the ephemerality of movement and the materiality of bodies and place, as well as the exhibition Bob Thompson: This House Is Mine.
FREE, but space is limited. Please register in advance. Walk-ins allowed as long as there is capacity.
