Savvy seniors—join us at Blackstone Library and paint with ink on rice paper!

Museum educator Erik Peterson from the Smart Museum of Art leads this hands-on workshop exploring the work of Toward Common Cause exhibiting artist Xu Bing and traditional East Asian brush painting. 

During this in-person workshop at the Blackstone Library, Seniors will get to create their own sumi-e ink drawings on traditional rice paper.

FREE, but space is limited to 13 participants. Please register online or at the library. All materials will be provided by the Smart Museum.
