Free and open to the public
Join us for a public reception for the teen-curated exhibition Together We Can Dream.
The evening features music, art, food, refreshments, and fellowship in honor of the work of the teen participants in the Smart’s summer program. Produced in partnership with the Chicago Housing Authority, the program explores public art and museums across Chicago and empowers teens to be creative citizens.
Following the reception, guests are also invited to join us at the nearby DuSable Museum of African American History for a Movies in the Parks presentation of I Am Not Your Negro, a documentary about the writer James Baldwin.
