MFA Show

Included in this year’s Master of Fine Arts exhibition of graduating students at Midway Studios, University of Chicago’s Visual Arts Department, are more than two-dozen paintings, drawings, sculpture, and installations by seven artists: Gary Cannone, Jill Glick, Raina Grigg, Kathy Rice, Brian Ritchard, Deb Vandenbroucke, and Libby Wadsworth. Within this diverse mixture are works that explore the interface of visual imagery and written language, boyhood and 19th century romantic notions of masculinity, and feminist issues within the Chinese-American community.
