“When we began discussions—well over a year ago—about how we would look at the 40th anniversary, we wanted it to be a celebration of what has been accomplished in the past 40 years, but not simply to dwell on the past but to look at the present and the future.”—Richard Born

WTTW's Chicago Tonight featured a video on our new exhibition Carved, Cast, Crumpled. The video highlights the process of deinstalling our galleries over summer, storing most of the permanent collection, and preparing the space for an all-museum exhibition as well as interviews with Senior Curator Richard Born and Associate Curator of Contemporary Art Jessica Moss.
